Rehearsal and Performance Venues
All our rehearsals and performances are based on the South Kensington Campus of Imperial College. Below is a list of the different venues we use and details on how to get there. For details on the venue used whilst on Tour click here.
South Kensington Campus, Imperial College
A short walk from South Kensington tube station and easily accessed using buses 9, 10, 52, 360, 14, 49, 70, 74, 345 and 414. You can view and download a map of the campus below. If you have problems finding a venue please contact us.
Imperial College Union
Building number 2 on the Campus Maps, the entrance is on Prince Consort Road. We spend most of our time in the Union. The society store room is located on the 3rd floor of the union.
Union Concert Hall (UCH)
This is where the Fresher’s Revue and Spring Show will be held. It is located on Level 2 of the Union. The stage can be accessed from the East staircase.
Union Dining Hall (UDH)
The main rehearsal venue. Located on Level 1 of the Union.
Meeting Room 1 (TTR)
A rehearsal venue and the dressing room during shows. Located on Level 3 of the Union. Accessed via the East staircase or through the Snooker rooms.
dB’s
A rehearsal and occasional performance venue. Located on the ground floor of the Union. First left as you enter through the main entrance.
Activity Rooms 1 & 2
Two large rehearsal rooms located on Level 1 of the Union opposite the UDH.
Huxley 344
Building number 13 on the Campus maps. A large rehearsal room located in the Maths and Computing Department. Located on Level 3 of the Huxley Building. Access from Queens Gate or the Sherfield Walkway. The room is just around the corner from the Sherfield Walkway entrance.
Blyth Centre, Sherfield
Building number 20 on the Campus maps. The Blyth Centre is located on Level 5 of the Sherfield Building. It is the centre for music and visual arts within Imperial and contains a suite of music practice rooms which we occasionally use for small rehearsals involving no more than 10 people. Physics 1004, Blackett Building
Building number 6 on the Campus maps. You can enter this building from the main entrance on Prince Consort Road or by entering the Huxley building from the walkway and walking through into the Blackett building. Take the lift to level 10 and the room is to the left (as if exiting the lift).
